Resumo: Conexões entre Direitos Humanos, o princípio da laicidade e con-
teúdos inerentes à profecia hebraica bíblica é o tema central deste artigo. A

seus tempos sobre o tema das relações entre os poderes político e
religioso, o princípio da laicidade, como princípio dos Estados de-
mocráticos republicanos e os Direitos Humanos? Argumenta-se que
o entendimento que os profetas tiveram das inter-relações entre o
poder político e o poder religioso dos tempos da monarquia israelita
possibilita, sim, relações temáticas com o conceito laicidade da forma
como esta categoria de compreensão vem se construindo nos lastros
e rastros da democracia e dos direitos humanos do mundo mod-
erno. A metodologia que se segue mescla análise e interpretação.
As perspectivas analítica e hermenêutica cruzam-se no decorrer da
princípio e integrar compreensões proféticas para delimitá-lo como
princípio. Interliga-se tal entendimento com Direitos Humanos.

Summary: The central theme of this article is the connections be-
tween Jewish Rights, the principle of secularism and inherent con-
tent of biblical Jewish prophecy. The delimiting problem question
between the contents that the biblical prophets integrated in their
times on the subject of the relations between the political and reli-
gious powers, the principle of secularity, as a principle of republican
democratic states and Human Rights? It is argued that the under-
standing that the prophets had of the interrelationships between
political power and religious power in the times of Israeli monarchy
allows, rather, thematic relations with the concept of secularity of
the way in which this category of understanding is being construct-
ed in the stabilizers and traces of democracy and human rights in
the modern world. The methodology followed combines analysis
and interpretation. The analytical and hermeneutic perspectives
the concept of secularity, seeking to understand it as a principle
and to integrate prophetic understandings to delimit it as a prin-
ciple. This understanding is interconnected with Human Rights.
