The Brazilian National Anti-Counterfeiting Council Executes MOU To Decrease Counterfeit Websites' Profitability

On December 03, during the 6th Brazilian National Anticounterfeiting Council (CNCP) meeting, a memorandum of understanding (MOU) was signed by and between CNCP and advertising market agents and associations to reduce monetization of websites and mobile apps that violate intellectual property rights. The goal is to minimize the placement of advertising in digital spaces that sell counterfeit products.
