RESUMO
Treze poemas que surgem no filme “O Livro de Cabeceira” de Peter Greenaway são
traduzidos para o português a partir dos seus originais em inglês. No filme esses poemas são
escritos em japonês sobre os corpos de diversos homens, gerando o conceito de ‘livrocorpo’.
Também são conduzidas algumas observações sobre a cinematografia de Greenaway e
sobre a poetisa japonesa Sei Shonagon.

ABSTRACT
Thirteen poems that appear in Peter Greenaway’s film “The Pillow Book” are translated into
Portuguese from their originals in English. On the film those poems are written in Japanese
over the bodies of several men, generating the concept of ‘bodybook’. Some remarks are also
made about Greenaway’s cinematography and about the Japanese poetess Sei Shonagon.
