Abstract
The objective of this study is to analyze the Executive Secretary Service course that is offered to graduate students at the Federal University of
Vicosa through a triangulate comparison of 1) graduate student’s expectations to the course, 2) the offered course syllabus at the university,
and 3) the federal guideline for this course. The literature of the course was analyzed, including questionnaires to the graduate students. From
the results, we concluded that the course was satisfactory according to the opinion of the graduate students, and that the syllabus equipped the
students with expected requirements, preparing the graduate students for the job market.
